Project Angel Food, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing nourishing meals to individuals facing critical illnesses in Los Angeles, is gearing up for its annual ANGEL ART auction on February 27, 2025. This year, the event takes on added significance as the organization responds to a 10 percent increase in demand for its services following recent wildfires in the area.
Since its inception in 2014, the ANGEL ART auction has raised over $500,000 to support Project Angel Food’s mission. This year, the auction will be held at Bonhams, featuring works by renowned artists such as Ed Ruscha, Robert Rauschenberg, Jeff Koons, Louise Nevelson, Helen Frankenthaler, and Jim Dine. Notably, four artists who were displaced or lost their homes in the wildfires have contributed their own artwork, highlighting the resilience and generosity of the artistic community.
